The Dragon Balls are the central mystical artifacts of the Dragon Ball media franchise, created by Akira Toriyama. When all seven are gathered, they summon an Eternal Dragon who can grant wishes. The story of the series revolves around the adventures of protagonist Son Goku and his friends as they search for these orbs and defend Earth from villains who also seek their power.
